Hello, beautiful souls, welcome back to crystal clear transformation. I'm Bryony and my your host, and today we are talking about my ADHD diagnosis. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 37. So it's a late diagnosis, but common for a lot of people around my age. So let me take you back to the beginning of what led to this ADHD diagnosis, and it really does take me right back to my childhood. I always felt like I was different and I struggled to sit still and I struggled to read social cues and I struggled to do other things that perhaps other kids felt was normal. So, consequently, i had difficult interactions with adults and with kids from a very young age. In primary school, i got picked on a lot and consequently, i retaliated because of how much it hurt me that I was being rejected by little kids and being hurt by little kids. If you haven't listened to my story about how I got here, you can go back and listen to that episode to get a little bit more information about my story and my background. And even through high school, i remember being extremely bored, so I was either falling asleep or I was getting in trouble when I was in class and I found it really hard to focus and keep my attention on things that didn't interest me 100%.

And now that I look back at that, these are all indicators about my ADHD And there's a couple of ways that we can look at this. We can look at it from a medical model and a diagnostic model and we can look at it from a spiritual perspective, and you can look at it from either way. I tend to look at it from both ways. I don't like to label because I think they're just labels, and if I look at it from a spiritual perspective, i guess I look at it that we're just different, we're open, we see the world from a different perspective, we see things differently to other people and we're more in tune with the spiritual realm and the spiritual world around us and more sensitive to the energies of the world, and that makes us not neurotypical in the medical model's view.

So what led to me going to get my diagnosis at 37 years old was that I have a son with ADHD and he got diagnosed with ADHD when he was 6. And he was like a mirror to me. I was watching him behave and I was looking at him and I was thinking, gosh, i remember being like that and I remember feeling like that And I remember the things that were happening to him, happening to me, and I also was completely and utterly triggered by him. His behaviour would send me into fight or flight and I would freeze and I wouldn't know what to do or I would end up yelling because I was in fight or flight. And this is what led me to get my ADHD diagnosis.

And what the psychiatrist said to me was that people your age often went undiagnosed. One because it wasn't something that they spoke about back then. There was no such thing as autism or ADHD. When I was a kid And you were just labelled as naughty. You were just labelled as the naughty kid that couldn't sit still, or the naughty kid that couldn't focus, or the naughty kid that was just misbehaving all the time, and that was the reputation that I ended up with. I was the naughty kid and I was the not nice person. And he said to me that people your age often went undiagnosed because you were from a middle class family, you went to a private school and you had the support around you that enabled you to learn a set of behaviours That was socially acceptable and enabled you to basically survive your environment, and that is incredibly accurate.

I spent my life learning what was socially appropriate, what behaviours were appropriate and how people wanted me to behave, and I exhausted myself every day. At school. I exhausted myself socially right through my teenage years and my 20s, trying to read people and work out what preconceptions they had made of me And then try to either change their preconceptions because their preconceptions were negative, so I tried to change them and convince them that I was likeable and that I was a nice person Or I tried to live up to what they saw me as. So they saw me as the bubbly, confident person, always having fun, and I would try to live up to that And this was incredibly exhausting. So in the medical model, this is called masking and this is a very prominent feature of ADHD and it's also a really prominent feature of high functioning autism.

And I became really good at this, became really good at masking and trying to be what people wanted me to be. And the downside of this was that when I would come out of social situations and I was masking and putting on a show about how I was supposed to be, i would come away extremely exhausted and energetically drained, and this is what led me to my diagnosis at 37 and what led to my emotional breakdown at 40 and what led to me rebuilding myself spiritually, emotionally and physically from that age and led me to be here with you completely transformed. So the reason that I'm talking about this today is because I know there's a lot of people out there that will be able to relate to some of these things, and I wanted to share with you that this journey of acceptance and this journey of healing is 100% achievable. And I've spoken before about my journey in healing and all of the tools that I use every day to thrive with my ADHD and to thrive with a child with ADHD and to thrive with the past hurts and the past traumas that I've experienced. And I talk more about that in my crystal clear transformation program, where you can learn everything that I do, including working with crystals, to completely transform your mindset and heal and thrive instead of survive your life, because that's what I was doing in that space right through my teenage years, right through my 20s and my 30s I was surviving, i was using those tools, or we are using those skills that I had learnt and pulling on them to try to fit them into the situations that I thought they were appropriate, and I was surviving. It was like treading water and I was spending my time in overwhelm and burnout. I wasn't being the mother that I wanted to be, i wasn't being the wife I wanted to be and I wasn't being the friend that I wanted to be.

And it wasn't until I surrendered. I took radical responsibility for my emotions, i turned my energy towards my crystals for healing and guidance and I transformed my spiritual tool belts so that I could thrive in my life. So, as I was saying, i often found a difficult to concentrate on tasks and I noticed that I wasn't the same as everybody else. I forgot important things, i misplaced things, i found it hard to concentrate at school and I was extremely anxious. And these were some of the patterns that I later in life recognised, when I had my son and he was mirroring back to me these things that I too had struggled with in my life. And this is when I began to dive into the world of holistic approaches and embark on a spiritual journey. And through this I discovered that nourishing my body and my mind and my soul was completely non-negotiable and vital in finding balance within this medical diagnosis and this spiritual diagnosis.

So one of the first things that I recognised that I had to do was I had to pay attention to a couple of things and it wasn't just one thing that was going to change me and over a period of time I tooled up and I realised that I needed to take control of the food that I was putting into my body. I needed to take control of the spiritual side of my body and I needed to move my body, and it was a combination of all of these things that led me to my own crystal clear transformation. I needed to be very particular about the food that I was putting into my body.

I needed to eat healthy, no processed food, and I don't stick to that 100%. I'm human, like everybody else. My favourite thing in the world is chocolate. So chocolate and ice cream and pizza I am completely powerless against. So I don't stick to that and I allow myself cheat days, but most of the time I make sure that I'm not eating too much sugar and I'm not eating processed foods, because those things affect my mind and my ability to cope on this plane, in this life, in this earthly experience, and I needed to take time for myself. My self care was the number one thing that needed to take priority over everything else, or I wasn't going to be able to perform in my job. I wasn't going to be able to perform as a mother, i wasn't going to be able to perform as a wife And I say perform, that's the wrong word, i don't want to use that word. I wasn't able to be who I wanted to be in those areas of my life And I had to take radical responsibility for my own self care, because before that I wasn't looking after myself. You know, i was trying to live up to the outside world's opinion of me That I was tall, that I was skinny, that I had it all together, that I had the perfect life and the perfect family And I was always happy in this and that and the other. And that just wasn't the truth. Behind closed doors, i was depressed, i hated my body, i hated my mind. I had extreme self loathing going on.

I was having panic attacks all the time and didn't want to be here, and that was the reality that was going on behind this masking. So, at the age of 40, i turned around and I said enough is enough. No one is coming to save me. There is no quick fix. I need to take care of myself, and this is when my healthy eating became the cornerstone of my daily routine And I started to sweat. I had to move my body every day, whether that be doing a high intensity workout one day and a walk on the beach the next day and a yoga the next day. I needed to move my body because on the days that I wasn't moving my body, i was agitated And I was like, oh, do you know what? I just don't feel good. Today, i'm a bit uncomfortable. As soon as I had gone for a walk or I had exercised, i was back on my path that I wanted to be on and feeling the way that I wanted to feel. Exercise became such an essential part of managing my ADHD symptoms And it helped to release any excess energy and improve my overall mental clarity, and I noticed such a huge significance around my ability to cope with challenging situations And my ability to stay focused and stay organised. Because I was making these healthy choices, i was getting fewer energy crashes, i was getting less brain fog And it was helping me to become more present.

I was trying to reduce my impulsive reactions to people and to make better decisions and really boost my mood. And the other thing, of course, was turning to my crystals. I began to activate crystals daily, whether that was with my jewellery or something that I was carrying around, i was activating that crystal to support me through my day, and the difference, just by adding a crystal to all of those things, was quite profound The protection from other people's energy. Being so spiritually open, being neurodiverse, activating a crystal for protection, activating a crystal for support, was so incredibly powerful and it made such a huge difference to me and to my energy and to the way that I felt in my daily routine. The way that I did this was I created my own unique blueprint, and this is something that we go over in the crystal clear transformation program is creating your own blueprint by setting your intentions, committing to yourself, getting an accountability. Buddy, how long are you going to spend on yourself? What is the intention for your sessions? Selecting a crystal that you're going to work with and selecting three to five other tools that you want to incorporate into your ritual. That is going to create consistency and it's going to create habit that benefits you in astronomical ways, creating a sacred space, whether this be a whole room, whether this be a cupboard or a drawer, creating your sacred space, and then pulling all of those elements together with your accountability buddy, so that you have got someone that is cheering you on, that is on your in your corner and encouraging you to eat healthy, to exercise, to do the meditation, to care for yourself so you can care for everyone else. So, if you are relating to some of the things that I'm talking about, you're not alone.

You can go and talk to a psychiatrist or your doctor and ask for an ADHD diagnosis if you want to go down the medical model, or you can simply understand that you just need to do a little more self-care and really care for yourself, because you are an extremely open human being and you need to do the work and look inside and heal, and you need to create ritual in your life. You need to create routine in your life so that you care and nurture yourself, so that you can thrive in this life. So you are not alone in this journey. Dreams And The Ancient World - 10 Crystals for Dreaming


The interpretation of dreams by dream experts may be almost as old as dreaming itself. We know that all humans, and many animals, dream every night, and humans have always been fascinated to learn what causes dreams and what they mean.


The interpretation of dreams dates back at least as far as 3000-4000 B.C. We know that because the interpretations of dreams were recorded in permanent form on clay tablets. It is thought that many primitive peoples were unable to initially distinguish between the real world and the dream world. In many cases, these people looked upon the dream world as an extension of the physical world around them, and in many cases they saw the dream world as more powerful than the waking one.


Dream interpretation was such an important field to the ancient Greek and Roman world that dream interpreters often accompanied generals and other military leaders into battles. Dreams were taken extremely seriously, and the Greeks and Romans in particular often viewed dreams as messages sent by their Gods.


Dreams also had a religious context in ancient Egypt, and priests there doubled as dream interpreters. Dreams were among the items recorded by the ancient Egyptians in the form of hieroglyphics. Those whose dreams were especially vivid or significant were thought to be blessed and were given special status in these ancient societies. Likewise, people who were able to interpret dreams were thought to receive these gifts directly from the gods, and they enjoyed a special status in society as well.

There are over 700 mentions of dreams in the bible, and people in biblical times saw dreams as very significant. Dreams and their interpretations are mentioned in many of the most significant books of the bible and other holy scriptures.


In many cases, dreams were often seen as a form of prophecy. People often interpreted their dreams as omens or warnings, and adjusted their activities accordingly. Dreams were often thought of as omens from deities, as messages from spirits, or as messages from departed souls. In some cases, dreams were even seen as the work of demons, meant to confuse and trouble the dreamer.


Dreams were so important that they often dictated the actions of political and military leaders, affecting everything from the prosecution of a battle to the outcome of a political decision. Dreams were also thought to provide vital clues to healers, and they were used in the diagnosis and treatment of all manners of illness.


Dreaming was often looked upon by indigenous peoples as a way to commune directly with Gods and Spirits, and dreams are still used in this way by cultures around the world. Many people believed, and some still do, that during dream sleep the soul leaves the body and communes with the spirit world.


The Chinese were one culture who believed that the soul left the body each night during dream sleep. They believed that if the dreamer were suddenly awakened the soul may not be able to return to the body. That is why some Chinese are still leery about the use of alarm clocks. This is just one example of how ancient legends can linger into the modern world.


Some Indigenous Mexican and Native American societies share this ancient view of the importance of dreams, and share the belief in a separate dimension that is visited during dream sleep. These people believed that their departed ancestors lived in their dreams, and that they were able to take forms like animals and plants. Thus dreams were seen as a way for them to commune with their recent and ancient ancestors, and to gather wisdom and knowledge that would serve them in their waking lives. Dreams were also seen as ways to gather information about their purpose or mission in life.


The respect for dreams changed radically early in the 19th century, and dreams in that era were often dismissed as reactions to anxiety, outside noises or even bad food and indigestion. During this period of time, dreams were thought to have no meaning at all, and interest in dream interpretation all but evaporated. This all changed, however, with the arrival of Sigmund Freud later in the 19th century. Sigmund Freud stunned the world of psychiatry by stressing the importance of dreams, and he revived the once dead art of dream interpretation.

So today I was taking my eldest son for a surf in Noosa so to so so today I was taking my eldest son for a surf and. The surf was quite big now look I've been out on a surfboard before but I am no means a pro-surfer and today I found myself standing on the rocks looking at this gorgeous surf. The sun was shining. The waves were crystal blue and I was trying to work myself up to jumping off the rocks. To paddle across the waves to get out past the break and the emotions that were coming up and the feelings that were coming up in my body were so potent and strong I was really strongly aware of them. I was processing them in the moment. But upon reflection I was processing them afterwards as well and I was really strongly aware of the fear. Self-doubt the self-criticism and all of those panic feelings that were coming up with me and I started going back in my mind and thinking of all of the other things that I have the same feelings about and there were lots of those things that I don't do.

Because they are out of my so-called comfort zone and they trigger me in ways that I just want to avoid and I avoid doing those things so I was standing on the rocks looking out and I was so fearful and scared. And I thought I'm out of my depth and then I just waited for the break and I jumped. So today we are going to be talking about fear and moving through fear the reason I wanted to share this story with you was because. Today's episode is all about the fear and how we can move through it.

See fear blocks our flow it obstructs the energetic flow within our body's natural rhythms and energy centres. It can build barricades and block our chakras with imbalances that show up as Fear and can sometimes show up in the root chakra I often have a blocked root chakra and this can indicate imbalances in the second chakra as well because these govern our change and how we deal with change and what our comfort level is and how we react to change. So our second chakra is asking us to let go and let it flow so one of the ways that we can conquer fear is to change our perception and a change in perception can lead to awakening on so many levels. And crystals can be a really potent support for that along the way now having said that all of the above I must also include that I 150% believe in gut feelings now I have cancelled plans ended friendships. And much more based on a bad feeling or an in a knowing that is very strong and I have learnt from this experience I have been burnt when I didn't listen to that in a knowing and I've learned from those lessons so I feel. It's really important.

To take the time to tune into our bodies and learn how to recognise fear as opposed to our gut feeling our intuition because sometimes they can feel very similar. So my way of discerning Those is that my gut feeling is very much in my stomach and it is just a complete and instant inner voice inside my head that says mm not right? fear is more in my chest and it's like it's the increase in heart rate. Um, almost like a sense of Panic. So I Absolutely believe in following your own gut feelings when those warning bells go off adjusting your sails and heading in the other direction.

In today's world we are faced with fear that comes a lot from ego and this can really block us from living our truest potential from living the life of our dreams now if you are ever feeling unsafe experiencing severe panic paralysing anxiety. It can help to go and speak to a health professional and get advice take on their point of view of the things that you're feeling and thinking and take that into consideration along with your morals your standards and your judgments and and. The way you feel about the course of treatment that you want for those things. Now dispelling fear is a process It's not an overnight fix. It takes time and dedication. But luckily there are plenty of energetic tools that can help you and that can. Assist you in this healing path and releasing and working through your fear. So let's start with the 5 things you need to know about fear number. 1 fear can be a healthy emotion when it is used. To help us assess potential threats and take precautionary method measures if we are conscious of them and we have the tools to move through it number 2 fear can be made up of multiple components including psychology thoughts and behaviour. So the thought creates the feeling the feeling creates the behavior or the action. So from that place of scared because it's usually where it comes from that feeling of scared if we are able to combine. A thought with an action that can help us move through that feeling within the body then we can master fear number 3 fear is usually a response to an external stimulus and can be both positive and negative.

So again, if we have that awareness and that awareness is key. We can also train ourselves to understand there will always be an outside energy or an input. But if it is then we can be conscious of how that's affecting us. And we can know that there are things that we can do that can prevent and there are things that we can do during and there are things that we can do after that can help with the feelings of fear fear can also be. So number 4 is that fear can also be a source of motivation. It can lead us to develop new skills and new knowledge and it can push us to strive for more in our lives. So. I'm going to move on now to the 5 ways that we can cope with fear number 1 is identify the source of our fear. It's really important to take some time to identify what is it that is causing this fear. Is it a specific event or a situation is it a memory from the past knowing the root of our fear can really help us better cope with it so taking the time to tune in and understand the fear better is an amazing step 1.

Step 2 is to challenge those 4 those thoughts fear often manifests as irrational thoughts and like I was saying before they cause that feeling of fear and then our action comes from place of fear and irrational and it's not always positive. So It's important to challenge them. Ask yourself if the fear is realistic or if it is based on irrational assumptions and worst case scenarios are we catastrophizing and then number 3 is take some deep breaths. Taking a few deep breaths can relax your sympathetic nervous system your sympathetic nervous system is responsible for responding to dangers and stressful Situations. So in these situations your sympathetic nervous system Activates. Speeds up your heart rate to deliver more blood to the areas of your body that need more oxygen to respond to get help to get you out of danger so taking three deep breaths into your stomach. Really deeply into your stomach not into your shoulders or your upper diaphragm into your stomach fill your stomach so taking three deep breaths with a longer outbread than an In-breth This will give you moment to pause and gain perspective of the situation.

Number 4 would be talk to someone talk to a friend talk to a family member. We talked about this in um, ah the 5 regrets of the dying my episode about the 5 regrets of the dying. How important it is to stay connected with family members and friends because connecting with others. Is the perfect way and such a strong way and such an important way for human beings to process all kinds of trauma and fear because it's helpful to talk with them because they can provide so support guidance and a different perspective. And sometimes when we're in that irrational mode. We don't see the true perspective and number 5 is you know I I rabbit on about this all the time is practice self care taking care of yourself. To help you manage your fear or your feelings is the number one most important thing in the world because you cannot show up in the world or show up for others if you don't look after yourself first and you don't love and nurture yourself First. So yoga meditation journaling exercise community with like-minded people can really help manage fear and stress. So now we are going to talk about my top 5 crystals that can help relieve.

Fear and calm the mind. So my number 1 pick obsessed you guys know I did an episode all on black tomaline in so many instances black tormaline is the king for crushing fear. This has been my personal experience and so many of my clients have said that this is the number 1 healing and supportive grounding protective stone that just makes you immediately feel like you are connected to earth energy. Number 2 would be labradite Labradite is a magical spiritual stone that is so great for heightening your intuition so stepping you into your intuitive sense your gut sense instead of your fear sense that can help you really tap into that inner knowing. And it's also protective and it will help you feel secure to number 3 would be hematite so this is a weighty stone that is so helpful for mental strength. It has iron content which connects you strongly to earth. Um, and it's a great stone that aligns that base shakra that we were talking about to me Hematype is like the crystal version of a weighted blanket. It's calming when you're really stressed out and it's soothing and reassuring. It's like someone's giving you a really.

Firm hold and squeeze and they're looking you straight in the eye and they're saying everything is going to be okay, Noah 4 would be obsidian so this is another grounding stone. It's strong. It's powerful. It's protective. And obsidian has a really powerful vibration. It encourages you to move forward with strength and courage because it's a volcanic glass. Um and it contains the fire element. So this can help set you up to face your fears with strength and aid in releasing those things that no longer. So. You number 5 would have to be acromarine. So this is a strong support stone. So this stone really helps you move through uncomfortable emotions. It helps you to let go and trust the process. It's really calming and serene because it gives you that kind of feeling of those gentle ocean waves upon the shore now this is a throat shark or stone too. So it encourages you to speak and communicate your truth and as I mentioned. there are there are thousands of different minerals. Um, you know that are out there so these are just a few of the the ones that I recommend for um, processing fear and another way that we can move through fear.

I am so happy to be here with you again so today's episode is all about the regrets of the dying.

 Bronnie gathered these from the hundreds and hundreds and people that she has supported in their Journeys the other side each of these has really prominent pauses for reflection so I invite you to perhaps do that. Perhaps write these down and take time to reflect on those and even note down perhaps things that relate to what you're doing and that doesnt align with that particular regret.

 So lets go back to the top 5 regrets and I'll run through them and then we'll come back and just kind of breakdown each one of them.

 so the number one was I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself and not what others expected me 

  • I wish I hadn't worked so hard 
  • I wish I had the courage to express my feelings
  •  I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends 
  • I wish that I had let a happier 

Wow, as I said these are really poignant points to take away with you for reflection and take stock of.

So the first one, “I wish I had the courage to live the life true to myself and not to what others expected of me”, this is really really prominent for a lot of people I feel including myself in today's Age we are really trained to work really hard for others and do as we're told and work to the expectations of others instead of really taking the time to sit down and go, what is it I want in life what is it and I want from my life and at the end of my life what life, Or are you thinking, I wish I had lived a life more true to myself.

So invite you to time to reflect on this and write down the things that you aren't doing, that aren't aligning with the life that is true to yourself. Write down the things that you are doing and then write down the things that you want to do. What do you want to do in your life? what are the things that are going to line you to your true path?

 And then have a little bit of a think about the things that you can do two steps towards doing those things that align with the life that is true to yourself.

Number two was “I wish I can work so hard” and I think we all think about this in the saying that everybody uses a “work-life balance”, so I think we all think about this quite a lot.

We don't often take time to reflect on how we could make our work life balance a little bit better.  And we don't often take time to reflect on how we could make our work life balance a little bit better and work smarter not harder. So invite you again to write down those ways that you are working harder not smarter and write down some ways that you might be able to align the two of those things a little bit better than perhaps they are.

For myself, as you know if you listen to the podcast about my story, that I left my corporate job in 2021 to follow my passion which was the crystal stylist and now crystal clear transformations and that was exactly what I was doing working harder not smarter. I wasn't living a life that was true to myself so for me leaving my corporate job and following my passion which was taking steps towards those first 2 regrets. So I'm still in the process of learning how to do a work-life balance better.

Number 3,  “I wish I had the courage to express my feelings”.  This is so hard for a lot of people. I don't personally have this problem I am such an extrovert and my heart is on my sleeve so I'm always expressing my feelings to people. I think for me the version of this would be to be honest that sometimes it can come across maybe in the wrong way so for me this is a how to be a little bit more tactical about the way that I express my feelings. Because I would like to get better at expressing my feelings in a positive way not in a blurting it all out. For some people expressing their feelings is like, they could never imagine such a thing, so maybe the first step towards expressing your feelings is actually just writing them down. At the end of the day a bit of a brain dump about today, how did i  feel about this that happened ? How did I feel about that that happened?  It can be the first steps to you learning how to express your your emotions and your feelings for and towards others. 

You can always start by writing them down and then burn in them and releasing them to Universe because that energy will have a way of working itself into the universe for your greater good.

So the next one was “i wish i had stayed in touch with my friends”.

Now this is something that is extremely important because we can't do this journey alone. We can't do this earthly experience alone and this is something we still haven't got, especially here in Australia, in particular, we don't really have it's something that we're starting to move back towards and realise that we need in so many ways in birthing in raising children in emotional healing. We need friends and family like-minded individuals around us community to support us on our journey so staying in touch with your friends is extremely important.

I think the biggest barrier for women in particular about staying in touch with friends is that we don't want to burden anyone. We've been moulded to think that we need to be tough and we need to do it all on our own and this just isn't true. 

You need to be able to reach out and ask for help and express your feelings and tell people how you're feeling.

 When I turn 40 I just couldn't keep up the facade anymore, I couldn't where the mask anymore. And when people ask me how I was a had to say I'm not good, I'm not good, I'm in a moment in my life where I'm actually not good and had to be completely honest with people. And that was completely liberating and freeing, because from that moment on if I was having a bad day I could say to my friend's having a really bad day I'm not ok today, and by the end of having that conversation with my friends just by saying I'm not ok, I feel so much better having release that emotion and that feeling with my friends to them be able to energetically move on from that moment. It might not go away, I might not forget about it, but I certainly feel supported loved and cared for and see just by having having moved into that conversation. You might just do it a little bit and then back away and that's ok, but just start to do that. Start to reach out to your friends and hold them close don't push them away because you're not coping emotionally, because that is only going to isolate you more. You are going to find your freedom by connecting with your friends and family when you are not feeling ok . So that is a huge one for me and I encourage you to do this in the new year.


The last one was which attaches itself to all the others so beautifully is, “I wish that I had let myself be happier”.  And for me this is huge because I don't let myself be happy a lot of the time. I've got things that are going on in my life, stress and Trauma, things that all of us have.  And we have these brain patterns and these neural pathways that are so well travelled, we don't let ourselves be happy it's almost like those neural pathways run our lives and we wake up in the morning and it's like when you look for something to not be happy about. This is something that I work extremely hard on shifting because it's probably one of those things that a lot of us struggle with shifting the most so it's a good one to put on your list for this year. Maybe even to start with just one thing many of us in the new year will end up just giving up, throwing our hands up in the air and I really don't want to do that. So it's important that we focus on one thing, just one thing we want to change. Not exercise, diet, meditation, walks…..not everything altogether, just one thing. Maybe just letting yourself have more moments of happiness each day is a really really good first step. The way that we can do that is just I connecting with another person or watching a funny video or simply making yourself laugh. So I encourage you to maybe take that step this year.

Divination; Get to know the different types Of Psychic Readings

When you contact a psychic, you might be overwhelmed by the different types of readings that they offer. Getting a general idea about the basics of each reading will help make your session with a psychic much more enjoyable.

A tarot card reading is one of the most popular types of psychic readings. During a tarot card reading, the psychic will ask you to focus your energy into the cards. How Much Energy Does a Crystal Skull Have

Extra-sensory perception (ESP), prophecies of the future, and a sixth sense could all be defined under the blanket term psychic ability. But where does psychic ability come from? Daily ritual V’s Routine

The difference between a daily ritual and a routine is how you think about it. It’s how you perceive your actions. Are they mundane chores that just need to be completed, or are they actions that bring meaning, learning or joy into your life? It’s all about your mindset.

A daily routine is a series of tasks that you complete every day in the same order. For example getting up and going to work, stacking the dishwasher, brushing your teeth and getting the kids ready for school. A routine can feel mundane and boring because it’s something you have to do. You can complete your routines on autopilot. They might be efficient, but routines are not necessarily motivating or enjoyable. They are viewed as a chore.

A daily ritual is similar to a daily routine since they are also a series of tasks that are completed in the same order. But a daily ritual differs in its intention. Daily rituals are meaningful practices and are internally motivated. A daily ritual can provide energy and enjoyment along with efficiency and structure. A ritual is a carefully selected way of doing something that has a sense of purpose and a positive side effect in addition to the straightforward completion of the task.

In my last job, I used to get to the office early. I’d switch on my computer and while it was starting up, I’d put the kettle on. While the kettle was boiling, I’d log in and download my emails. Then I’d make my tea and make some porridge in the microwave. Then I’d go back to my desk and read my emails while drinking my tea and eating my porridge. When the porridge was finished, that’s when I kicked into work mode.

Was my morning series of tasks a daily ritual or just a routine?

It started out as a routine. Then I started to think about it and deliberately made it motivating. I bought a really lovely bowl for my porridge and beautiful cup for my tea. It started to become more pleasurable, meaningful and enjoyable. I reframed ‘getting through my emails’ to ‘mentally preparing for my day.’ It was my quiet time. I found out much later that colleagues knew to leave me on my own until my porridge ritual was over!

 

Rituals can help us take the boredom or stress out of a regular activity, they can help us be more thoughtful, help us connect to our purpose and help us achieve our goals.
